Owen Man Killed in Taylor County Accident

-An Owen man was killed in one vehicle accident in Taylor County on Thursday.According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department, around 11am on Thursday, they received a call of a one vehicle accident on County Highway A just east of Larson Drive in the Township of Holway. When they arrived, they found 61-year-old Ronald Konieczny of Owen partially ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An initial investigation indicates that Konieczny was traveling westbound on County Highway A when he crossed over into the opposite lane of traffic and into the south ditch. He continued to travel in the south ditch until he collided with a driveway embankment causing the vehicle to overturn and partially ejecting him. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
