Neillsville City Council Approves Upgrade to City Website

-The Neillsville City Council approved an upgrade to the city’s website at their meeting last week.During a Commission on Economic Development Meeting on August 25th, the commission approved the city to spend $529 to upgrade to V5 of the cities website software, which the council also approved. The council also approved rescheduling their November meeting. Their 1st Tuesday meeting in November would fall on election night, so the council moved the meeting to Thursday, November 10th.
The council also approved the Clark County Youth Hockey Association to build an addition onto the O’Neill Ice Arena building. The association will be getting a loan to do the work and then plans on asking for donations and seeking funds from the Listeman Foundation to pay back the loan. No tax dollars will be used and the council approved it with the stipulation that it be done by May 1st of next year.
