One Person Killed in Truck vs. Motorcycle Accident in Medford

-One person has died after a truck vs motorcycle accident in Medford.The accident occurred just before 7pm on Wednesday at the intersection of State Highway 64 and Crane Drive in the Town of Medford. An initial investigation revealed that the 32-year-old motorcyclist, of Medford, was traveling on east on Highway 64. A pick-up truck driven by a 51-year-old Medford resident was traveling west and began to turn onto Crane Drive and they collided at the intersection. The driver of the truck said he didn’t see the motorcycle due to the bright sun.
Lifesaving procedures were attempted on the motorcyclist, but he didn’t survive the injuries sustained in the crash. An investigation into the accident continues.
