Clark County Health Task Force Insurance Seminars, Part 3

-A task force in Clark County is working to get more residents enrolled in Health Insurance.I spoke with Rebecca Rosandick, the Public Health Specialist/Health Educator of the Clark County Health Department, and she explained what the task force hopes to achieve with the seminars.
"So, by holding these seminars, we want citizens to get information and to, hopefully, ultimately enroll in some sort of health insurance plan or medical plan. That would be our ultimate goal. But we are not pushing people towards any type of insurance. No specific brand or anything. That is for them to ultimately decide. What we want to do is provide just the resources so they don't have to feel lost when they navigate all the plans they qualify for. We just want people to be aware of all of their options. So, again, not promoting one certain type of brand or anything of insurance."
Coming up on Thursday, Rebecca will explain when and where these seminars are. The first one is being held next week on Wednesday, September 21st at the Clark County Courthouse in Neillsville from 5:30pm-7pm.
