(WDLB) -Marshfield police were called to a southwest-side apartment Friday when a nine-year-girl called 9-1-1 to say that her eight-year-brother was chasing her around with knives, because he thought his sister took his candy. The girl also stated that the boy punched her in the face. When police responded, they discovered the kids were home alone with no adult supervision. The girl told officers their grandmother had left to run some errands. The woman returned to the apartment while officers were still on-scene. She was advised not to leave the children home alone. The woman told investigators that she lived in the apartment with the children and their father, and that they were preparing to move to Coleman in northeast Wisconsin. The girl was not hurt during the incident, but police said she did have a red mark on her face from the punch thrown by her brother.
