Local/State Election Results

-Primary elections were held throughout the state of Wisconsin on Tuesday.Most races were uncontested, but for local contested races, in Clark County Sean Duffy was favored over Donald Raihala 1,075 votes to 107 for the Republicans in District 7 of Congress. Duffy also won over Raihala in the rest of the state with 89% of the votes compared to Raihala 11%. On the Democratic side in Clark County, Mary Hoeft won 634 votes to Joel Lewis’ 153. That was in line with the state once again with Hoeft receiving 81% votes compare to Lewis’ 19%.
Another big state race for Democrats was Russ Feingold against his challenger Scott Harbach. In Clark County, Feingold beat Harbach 813 to 93. Again, that was in line with the state with Feingold receiving 90% of the votes and Harbach receiving 10%. As for local races, there were no contested races in the primary.
