Pittsville Man Sentenced for Child Enticement

-A Pittsville man arrested during a Crimes Against Children Operation in September of last year was sentenced on Monday.This operation was conducted on September 11th by the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department and the Wausau Police Department. There were three people arrested during the operation including Justin Hetzel from Pittsville. He was charged with use a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement and resisting or obstructing an officer.
Hetzel pleaded guilty to the child enticement charge and the other two were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail and 5 years’ probation. He must also complete 15 hours of community service and register a sex offender for 15 years.
