Commodity Carnival at the Clark County Fair, Final

-A Commodity Carnival will be held during the Clark County Fair this week.CME Group and the National 4-H Council have partnered for the fourth year to bring the Commodity Carnival to the state’s fairs and carnivals. They will be setup at this year’s Clark County Fair to help teach youth lessons about agriculture, business and the economy. I spoke with Pam Hobson of the 4-H Wisconsin Extension and she talked about all the places they go in Wisconsin.
"We're at 28 different fairs or events throughout Wisconsin. What we do, is we have these kits put together and in these kits it has a DVD that shows people how to run the booth. Also, we bring prizes to them and it has all the things you'll need to run the booth such as the little eggs that act as our pseudo-pigs. So, we are trying to hit as many as we can."
She also explained how long the CME Group and the National 4-H Council have been doing the fair.
"It's a collaboration between the National 4-H Council and the CME group, or Chicago Mercantile Exchange group, and they provide the funds and this is the 4th summer we've been doing this at county fairs."
