Neillsville City Council Approves Neillsville Chamber banner on Gazebo

The Neillsville City Council approved the Neillsville Chamber to hang a banner on the Gazebo.The Chamber requested to hang a banner for the Autumn Harvest Fest on the Gazebo. The council approved it beginning two weeks prior to the festival. The council also approved letting the Seventh Day Adventist Church to close Clay Street from W. 4th Street to W. 5th Street on Sunday, August 7th. The church is celebrating their 125th Anniversary on that day. The church said that neighbors living in that area are fine with it.
The council also approved the resignation of Assistant Clerk-Treasure Liz Gaier. That item was originally approved by the Personnel Committee held on July, 14th. The Common Council then approved sending the positon back to the Personnel Committee so they can begin the process of filling it. The council also approved the resignation of Mary Jurgaitus from the Neillsville Library Board.
