The Highground's Operation Persian Gulf Welcome Home Veterans Event, Day 4

-The Highground’s Operation Persian Gulf Welcome Home Veterans Event continues today.Tonight at 6pm is the Operation Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan Ceremony. Speakers include Brian Barth an OEF Veteran and Cheryl Lee Patrick the Gold Star Mother of Patrick Lybert. The Color Guard will be presented by the New Richmond VFW# 10818. There will also be music by Marnie Schecklman and bagpipes at sunset.
Throughout the remainder of the week there will be more guest speakers, concerts and other events. They will also dedicate the Persian Gulf tribute during this event on Saturday, July 23rd and the time for that has been moved from 6:30pm to 5:30pm on that Saturday. Sunday, July 24th is family day with a picnic, inflatables, kid’s games and an outdoor movie.
