Man Found Dead at Rock USA Identified

Thursday, July 21st, 2016 -- 9:13 AM

(Noell Dickmann, USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin) -The Winnebago County Coroner's Office has released the name of a man who died while at Rock USA at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh.

Lucas Olsen, 40, of Marshfield, died July 14 at the festival, said Chief Deputy Coroner Chris Shea. Shea and Winnebago County Coroner Barry Busby refused to disclose the cause of death, and said they won't know the cause for sure until Busby receives toxicology results.

Busby said the death appears to be natural. However, he said the investigation is still ongoing. "It doesn't appear to be suspicious in nature," Busby said. "But we have to wait until all the information can be gathered and put together." Olsen was found unresponsive in the passenger seat of a vehicle in the campground area of the festival about 1 p.m., authorities previously said. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
