Security Health Plan Names New Manager of Government Claims Processing

-Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has named April Bores of Stratford, manager of Government Claims Processing, where she ensures compliance with all state and federal health care regulations.Bores works with providers, giving them current information needed to process members’ insurance claims efficiently. She provides oversight and management of claims for all the Plan’s Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, BadgerCare Plus and Family Health Center (FHC) plans. A native and resident of Stratford, Bores graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in biology. She joined Marshfield Clinic in 2011 as Patient Financial Services (PFS) assistant manager managing Medicaid claims.
She transferred to the Health Plan as customer service manager in 2013, where she was responsible for call center metrics, managing the Customer Service department, implementing new initiatives and working collaboratively with other departments to identify more efficient processes. In 2015, Bores transitioned to the Claims Department, where her duties included oversight and management to ensure claims (BadgerCare, Medicare Supplement and FHC) were processed accurately and timely.
