Greenwood School Board Approves Several Finance Items

-The Greenwood School Board approved several finance items at their meeting on Monday.The board approved final end-of-year budget transfers, participation in the Federal School Lunch Program and school lunch prices as $2.65 at the Elementary, $2.85 at MS/HS and $3.85 for adult lunches. The board also approved the bread bid offered by Mayville’s Market, approved ala carte prices for 2016-17, the purchase of the True Time module from SkyWard and the replacement of the district’s phone system as soon as possible.
In regards to policy, the board approved a Second reading of the 0000’s and 1000’s series of policies and approved both series. They also had the first reading of the 2000’s series. The Student Activities Code for 2016-17 was approved with one revision regarding athletes “changing sports,” they received an update on the technology education upgrades and they adopted the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for 2016-17 pursuant to a Wisconsin Statute.
