Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Barn Fire

-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a report of a barn fire on Sunday afternoon.The department received the call just after 2pm on Sunday. It was a report of a barn fire on Maple Road in the Township of Pine Valley. When the department arrived, they found an old barn being used for storage and as a workshop fully engulfed and the roof had already collapsed. The structure is considered a total loss including the contents inside which included some snowmobiles and ATV’s.
The department was on scene for 2.5 hours, there were no injuries and they did receive mutual aid from the Granton Fire Department with water.
