Red Cross Blood Drive in Neillsville Collects 83 Pints of Blood

-The Red Cross Blood Drive held in Neillsville on June 27th collected 83 pints of life saving blood.

Appreciation is extended to the many caring donors and volunteers within the community. The 83 pints of blood collected may save the lives of over 249 patients.

Of those giving blood, several have reached total numbers in the gallons amount including 16 gallons by Bonnie Henchen, 11 by Gloria Hamm and David Johnson, 9 by Bob Bell, Catherine Winter and Dean Swett donated 6, Ruth Novak donated 5, Benjamin Borntrager donated 3, 2 by David Stutzman and 1 by Andrew Cegielski. Some first time donors including Alma Keim, Emma Miller, Ella Miller and Jeff McNeely. The winners of the two $20 gift certificates, donated by the American Legion, were Vicada Schlinsog and Jade Gross.
