Neillsville School Board Discusses Employment Matters

The Neillsville School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.Before that, they heard they District Administrator’s Report. John Gaier reported on two thank you cards, a donation from the family of Tony Stini, a WEAU report on Snapshot Wisconsin, elementary lunchroom tables, an article regarding revenue limits in Wisconsin, a Capital Times article on Act 21 and three Focus articles. For employment matters, the board approved the resignation of Desiree Fravert from her teaching assistant position, Allie Dickinson from her teaching assistant position, Tia Opelt from her teaching assistant position, Melody Clemens from her teaching assistant position, Shyla Gilbertson from her elementary teacher position, Nicole Hangartner from her elementary teacher position, Susie Conner from her social studies teacher position and Jodi Rueth from her elementary music teacher position.
The board approved the hiring of Theresa Lezza for an administrative secretary position and Dawn Voss for a support secretary position. They approved several contracts including Nicole Milkey for an elementary teacher position, Melissa Boon Strangfeld for an elementary teacher position, Kathy Luchterhand for an elementary teacher position, Alaric Huls for a social studies teacher position and Dessa Karl for a social studies teacher position.
They approved the Memorandum of Understanding for Ashley Gunderman, approved the administrative contract for Craig Anderson for the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years as presented, approve the administrative contract for John Gaier for the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years as presented and approve wage increases for confidential and supervisory positions and adjustments to the support staff wage schedule as presented.**
