Clark County Sheriff's Department Responds to Man Falling from Silo

-The Clark County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a man falling from a silo Thursday afternoon.According to a report from the sheriff’s department, they received a call just after 1pm on Thursday of a male subject who fell from a silo at a farm on Highway 10 east of Neillsville. The man, Clinton Zank, had fallen about 40 feet inside the silo chute. The man’s wife, Heidi Zank, stated that he had fallen because they had been filling the silo and there was silo gas inside. Zank had crawled to the milk house area and his kids brought him to the house in a gator.
Zank was alert during this time and he was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital by ambulance. Several departments responded to the incident.
