Donations, Field Trips and More at the Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board approved several items at their meeting on Monday.The board approved a couple donations including $100 to the music department in memory of Ruby Kuhn and pencils from O’Reilly Auto Parts. The board also approved three out-of-state field trips to Dorian Vocal Festival in Decorah, IA, in January of 2017, band and chorus to Florida in April of 2017 and the National FFA Convention in October of 2016.
In regards to financial items, the board approved setting a temporary Fund 10 budget of $10,400,000. They also approved Associated Bank, BMO Harris Bank, Unity Bank, and Citizen’s State Bank of Loyal as the official depositories for the 2016-2017 school year. Finally, they approved authorizing the district administrator to make investments for the 2016-2017 school year.
