Presentations at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard three presentations at their meeting on Monday.The board heard a presentation from Scott Moseley, Greenwood’s 6th Grade Teacher. He provided the board with an update on the Outdoor Classroom project. He indicated that over $17,000 had been donated to date and that he was waiting to hear about several other grant possibilities. With the current funds raised, the project could be started and completed in phases. Final drawings of the nature center are still being completed.
They also heard a presentation from Matt Raatz, Greenwood’s Business Education teacher. He provided the board a report on the FBLA State Leadership Conference. 20 students competed at the state meet. The FBLA organization continues to be a strong program at GHS with 52 participants.
