Marshfield Police Department Arrest Man for Violations Related to Domestic Abuse Allegations

Officers of the Marshfield Police Department, with the assistance of the Wood County Sheriff's department, took a 30 year old Marshfield male into custody for violations related to a domestic abuse allegation in the 500 block of S Maple Ave on Friday.

The number of officers and departmental assets on hand were precautionary measures in place to ensure the safety of all involved.  In the end, patience on everyone's part and the excellent work of the crisis negotiator team were able to resolve the situation with no injury to the man or officers.

There were no direct indications of a safety concern to the public during the incident.
