-One of the people arrested in Black River Falls during a routine traffic stop, after drugs were discovered in the vehicle, was sentenced for the incident.Authorities pulled over Andrew Hanson of La Crosse in Black River Falls in August of 2015. During the stop, a K-9 detected a large amount of drugs. The officers searched the vehicle and found meth, heroin and a weighing scale and packaging materials. Hanson was arrested and was his passenger Karyn Youngthunder.
Youngthunder had several charges filed against her in several different cases including possession of drug paraphernalia, bail jumping and taking and driving a vehicle without consent. Youngthunder was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, the taking a vehicle charge and the bail jumping charges. The other charges, from the other cases, were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 4 years’ probation and owes the courts $176. Hanson will be in court in June.
