Bus Bids and Employment Matters at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board approved a bus bid at their meeting on Monday.The board approved a bid for a new handicapped equipped bus. The board received two bids, one from Mid-State Truck and the other from Wisconsin Bus Service. They approved the lower bid of $80,382.50 from Mid-State Truck. This included a $1,500 trade in.
In employment matters, the board approved the hiring of Glen Klueckmann for a bus driver position. They also approved the contracts for Rebecca Boehning for a special education teacher position, Michael Gaier for a special education teacher position, Sara Rosewicz for an art teacher position, Nicole Schalow for a middle school softball coaching position.
They also approved a the Memorandum of Understanding for Rebecca Boehning, the renewal of teacher contracts for the 2016-2017 school year as presented and the initial adoption of policy IGBA. Finally, the board approved the resignation of David Caldwell III from his special education teacher position and the retirement of Dean Glaze from his special education teacher position and Suzanne Oberbeck from her business education teacher position.
