Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker Program Graduates New Master Cheesemakers

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker program has graduated seven new and three returning Master Cheesemakers.The program, which is the nation’s only advanced training course of its kind for experienced cheesemakers, has 59 active Masters in Wisconsin. One of the newest master cheesemakers is Scott Navarre, of Foremost Farms USA in Marshfield. And of the returning master cheesemakers, who completed the program again to earn certification for additional cheese varieties, is Brian Jackson of Nasonville Dairy in Marshfield.
The Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker program is administered by the Wisconsin Center for Dairy Research and funded by Wisconsin dairy producers, through the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.
