New/Returning Owen-Withee School Board Members Receive Oath of Office

-The Owen-Withee School Board gave the Oath of Office to their new and returning board members at their meeting on Monday.Mr. Eloranta and Mrs. Amacher were sworn in as is required by law prior to April 25th. Mr. Eloranta is an incumbent who will continue to serve on the board. Mrs. Amacher is a new board member who officially takes office on April 25th. In employment matters, the board approved hiring Ryan Gutsch as the District’s Athletic Director on a 6-1 vote. Mr. Gutsch replaces Brian Lewison who will continue in this role until June 30.
The board unanimously approved the resignation of Tonya Klabon as the district’s Head Volleyball Coach. Mrs. Klabon has a job change at her current employer with additional duties which will make it impossible for her to get to practices and games. The board thanked Mrs. Klabon for her three years as head coach. The board unanimously approved hiring Ashley Lange as the district’s Head Volleyball Coach. Ms Lange served as the JV coach last year.
