Osseo Man Involved in 2014 Shooting Incident Sentenced

-A man involved in a shooting near Osseo has been sentenced for the incident.Back in September of 2014, the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department received a call from Wendy Hageness saying there was an unwelcomed man at her home. Wendy's husband, Jon Hageness, arrived home and the man, William Ledford, pulled a gun on Hageness and ordered him inside the home and forced Hageness to write him checks. After that, gunshots were heard by the responding officers. Ledford then came outside and was arrested.
Ledford is the uncle of Wendy Hageness. Jon Hageness suffered a gunshot wound to the back, but the injury was not fatal and he recovered. Ledford pleaded guilty to armed robbery and 1st degree intentional homicide. The rest of the charges were dismissed and read in. Ledford was sentenced to 60 years in prison.
