Milwaukee Man Enters Plea for Marshfield Drug Bust

-A Milwaukee man arrested by the Marathon County Sheriff's Department Special Investigations Unit and Marshfield Police Department as part of a drug investigation entered a plea in Marathon County Court on Tuesday to avoid a trial.A traffic stop at the end of September of last year resulted in the seizure of approximately eighty grams of high grade Heroin and the arrest of Melvin Dunomes. The Heroin seized amounts to approximately 1,600 doses. The street value of that amount is estimated at $80,000.00.
Dunomes pleaded no contest to, and was found guilty of, possessing up to 50 grams of heroin with intent to distribute. He’ll be back in court in June for sentencing.
