Clark County UW-Extension To Look At Fall Seeded Cover Crops

Please join Clark County UW-Extension for an April look at fall seeded cover crops.The date is April 15th from 12:30 ??" 3:00 p.m. on the Dave Gallion farm, located at N9934 Groverside Ave., Spencer, and watch for signs. Dave has used no-till on his farm for many years and now has incorporated cover crops, both no-till seeded and aerial seeded. Dave will share his experiences of implementing cover crops into his no-tilled row crops, plus provide a hands on experience of did the cover crops work? Some were to survive winter some not.
The field day will have multiple topics and demos presented by UW??"Extension, Land Conservation, and NRCS from Clark and Marathon. Lunch will not be provided. The field day is a rain or shine event, so please come dressed accordingly.
