Clark County's Health Rankings, Part 4

-A new county health rankings report was recently released by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.All though there are clear opportunities for improvement, Clark County has assets and resources that can help it strive to be a healthier county. I spoke with the Director of the Clark County Health Department, Bob Leischow, and he explained what entities can use this report.
"It is important to realize that health is everybody's business; not just the Health Department. Though the Health Department directly provides many services and programs, much of our work is done in partnership with other agencies/organizations. What the evidence tells use is that when a variety of individuals and organizations from different sectors are involved in addressing the health of a community, the likelihood of realizing success is greater than when only a few are involved."
