Wisconsin's All Milk Price for March

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin all milk price for March was $17.50 per hundredweight.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, that's according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report which stated that was 30-cents more than the previous month, but 60-cents below the same period last year.
The U.S. all milk price was $17.40 per cwt., a dime lower than Wisconsin's price, but 30-cents higher than last month's U.S. price. All but one of the 24 major milk producing states had a higher price when compared with February.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange 40-pound block cheese price closed at $1.80 per pound on April 30, while barrels were $1.83 per pound. The CME butter price was $1.75 per pound.
For the week ending April 24, the Agricultural Marketing Service U.S. weekly 40-pound block cheese price averaged $1.79 per pound, and 500 pound barrels adjusted to 38 percent moisture averaged $1.65 per pound. The U.S. butter price was $1.82 per pound.
