-One of the men arrested during a drug bust in Abbotsford over two years ago was sentenced. At the end of February in 2014, the Clark County Sheriff's Department and Colby-Abbotsford Police Department executed a search warrant on Sycamore Street in the City of Abbotsford and authorities seized over $12,000 worth of methamphetamine from the home. Jonathan Gates, of Ogema, and Anthony Rogers, of Wausau, were arrested during the bust. Gates was sentenced back in December of 2015 to 2.5 years in prison and 2.5 years of extended supervision.
Rogers’ case had been pending as he was facing similar charges in Marathon County. Rogers pleaded guilty to 4 of the 8 charges against him in Marathon County and was sentenced to a total of 5 years in prison and 5 years of extended supervision. He also owes the courts $2,124. The charges that he still had here in Clark County were consolidated with the ones in Marathon, so his case here has been closed.
