Medford Police Department Releases Names of Individuals Involved in Murder/Suicide

-The Medford Police Department has released the names of two people found dead in an apartment in Medford last week.On March 24th, the Medford Police Department responded to a report of two deceased individuals, a male and female, at an apartment on South Main Street in Medford. An examination and investigation determined that 20-year-old Kristina Knopp died of gunshot trauma caused by 27-year-old Chad Mayes. Mayes died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Medford Police Department received assistance from several agencies. They also stated that there is no danger to the community and they are not seeking any suspects.
