Neillsville Public Works Report

The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting last week.The usual amount of work was done in the city including equipment maintenance, park and cemetery maintenance, tree pruning and trimming, hauled brush and compost, snow and ice removal, patched pot holes and they’re working on sewer drains. There have been a few areas near sewer drains that have developed sink holes due to a lot of rain and snow melt. Also, the Public Works employees are going through various trainings.
The council also heard the committee reports from the committee meetings held the past couple weeks in Neillsville. They heard the Heritage Days Committee report from their meeting on March 10th. The committee discussed kid’s games, sponsorships, pottery, security, bartenders and crafters. They also heard presentations from Smokin’ Classics BBQ, Rock N’ Roll to Go and General Beverage
