Employment Matters at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the hiring of Jasmine Griesbach for a teaching assistant position and Rhonda Pernsteiner for a teaching assistant position. They also approved the initial adoption of Policy GBE. The board accepted the retirement of Lori Muerett from her art teacher position, Julie Bechtel from her art teacher position, Karen Gaier from her special education teacher position, and Jeanne Reed from her elementary teacher position. The board approved the resignation of Mike Pekol from his assistant football coaching position, Susie Conner from her assistant volleyball coaching position, Myanna Lansing from her assistant volleyball coaching position, Monika Luebke from her middle school volleyball coaching position and Don Abel from his assistant golf coaching position.
The board also heard the Administrators’ Report. Elementary Principal Tim Rueth reported on attendance, February 29th was the Child Development Fair, March 4th was the fifth grade musical, March 24th was the teacher in-service day and there’s no school Mar 24th-25th and Mar 28th because of Easter break. He also mentioned the third grade volunteer activities at Sunset Gardens and Clark County Humane Society, April 6th is the Reggie Dabbs presentation, April 13th is a scheduled late start, the eParenting newsletters and the 2016-2017 school calendar posted on the district website.
