Highway 73 North of Thorp Closed

-Highway 73 north of Thorp is closed due to a failed culvert pipe.The Wisconsin Department of Transportation stated that the closure is located in Taylor County 5 miles north of Thorp. However, Highway 73 is open through the City of Thorp.
The detour uses Highways 27 and 64 through Chippewa and Taylor Counties and the closure will remain in effect until the culvert can be replaced.
