Man Arrested in Abbotsford for Child Neglect is Sentenced

-A man arrested during the execution of a search warrant at a home in Abbotsford was sentenced in Clark County Court recently.Back in July of last year, the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Clark County Social Services and the Abbotsford Police Department executed a search warrant at 419 North 3rd Street in Abbotsford.
Two adults, Gary Mann Jr. and Joan Mann, were arrested as was a 17-year-old. Gary entered a no contest plea, and was found guilty of, possession of a firearm by a felon, neglecting a child and intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child. He was sentenced to 180 days in prison and 5 years’ probation. Joan Mann’s next court date in in April. In the incident, two children, ages 13 and 6, were removed from the home by social services. The two children were the ones that told the authorities about the drug use in the home.
