Clark County Board of Supervisors Report

The Clark County Board of Supervisors heard three reports/presentations to start their meeting on Tuesday.One was the Clark County Planning, Zoning and Land Information’s 2015 Annual Report. In regards to the Sanitation Program Statistics, the department had a general increase in most numbers compared to the previous year. They also saw an increase in regards to nonmetallic mine activity. From the fees collected, $14,800, $2,235 went to the DNR as per agreement.
The department also created 64 new 911/Rural Addressing numbers which was one more than last year and they issue 27 land use permits for 2015. Finally, they discussed the Strategic Initiative which will make the county eligible for $50,000 in Strategic Initiative grant funding and their big project this year is the Land Information Plan.
