Man Arrested in Greenwood Drug Bust Enters Plea

Friday, March 18th, 2016 -- 11:23 AM

-One of four people arrested in a drug bust in Greenwood appeared in Clark County Court on Thursday for a plea hearing.

At the end of September 2015, the Clark County Sheriff's Office with the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation and members of the West Central Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at home on Hinker Road in the Town of Eaton. Chad Schoolmaster, Travis Spinler, Tiffany Carolfi and Ivana Green were all arrested in the incident and they were all charged with several different charges including manufacturing methamphetamine, bail jumping, obstructing an officer and more.

Schoolmaster appeared in court for a plea hearing on Thursday. He entered a no contest plea, and was found guilty of, manufacture/deliver amphetamine as a party to a crime and maintaining a drug trafficking place as a party to a crime. Four other charges were dismissed and read in. He was also found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of sex registry violation in another case. During the hearing, Schoolmaster asked for a $50,000 signature bond as opposed to his $2,500 cash bond, but the judge felt there were too many risks to grant that request. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and he'll be back in court in May for sentencing As for the others, Spinler will be back in court next month for sentencing, Carolfi was sentenced for her part in the crime at the end of November and Green will be in court at the end of the month.
