Man Involved in Neillsville Child Abduction Appears in Clark County Court

-The man involved in a child abduction in Neillsville back in December appeared by video in Clark County Court on Wednesday.Back in December, a Neillsville resident contacted the Neillsville Police Department and said her estranged husband, Jason Sonnheim, had broken into her home, assaulted her and abducted their 4-year-old son. He was later spotted in Eau Claire County and, after a brief high speed chase, he was arrested.
Sonnheim is facing multiple charges here in Clark County and Eau Claire County. He appeared in court on Wednesday for a preliminary hearing. The hearing was waived and he entered not guilty pleas to the charge against him. He’ll be back in court in April.
