Greenwood School Board Approves Donation of Football Uniforms

-The Greenwood School Board accepted a donation for football uniforms at their meeting on Monday.The board accepted with thanks a gift of $3,400 for middle school football uniforms from the JJ Watt Foundation. They also accepted a donation of a fur rug and petticoat to the Drama Club from Louise Hackel and classroom chairs for Mrs. Michelle Johnson’s room funded through DonorsChoose.org.
The board also approved the employment of Steve Geisthardt as the assistant track coach and approved Ann Calkins, Tony Jordon, Martin Nigon, and Hannah Olson as volunteers. The board approved the overnight field trip request for the FBLA state competition in April and they saw a presentation from Ms. Schrage on the field trip to the Festival of Nations on May 5th and the Spanish Club trip to Nicaragua and Cost Rica in June 2017.
