Neillsville Police Department Solves Case Involving Vehicle Break-Ins

Tuesday, March 15th, 2016 -- 11:46 AM

-The Neillsville Police Department solved a case regarding vehicle break-ins at two Neillsville companies.

On Tuesday, February 16, the Neillsville Police Department received a report of about 40 vehicles that were broken into while parked in the employee parking lots of OEM Fabricators and Mayville Engineering Company. On Tuesday, February 23, Neillsville Police Chief Scott Klueckmann reported to the Neillsville City Council that his officers were working a lead on this unsolved case and that lead has since worked out.

The Neillsville Police Department has made 2 arrests related to these thefts. One of the suspects confessed to the thefts while the other requested an attorney and would not talk with officers. The Department is not prepared to release the names of the suspects as they have not yet been formally charged. Those names will be released to the public when the time is appropriate.

Chief Klueckmann wanted to thank his officers for all their hard work in solving this case; Officer Jason King, Officer Aaron Bembnister, and Detective Jeff Pokallus. Each of these officers did an outstanding job in bringing this unsolved case to a close. All the credit goes to them and it is well deserved.
