Local Schools Receiving Wisconsin Title I School of Recognition Awards on Monday

-Teams of educators from 169 schools throughout the state will gather in Madison on Monday for the Wisconsin Title I Schools of Recognition program and awards ceremony.All award-winning schools receive federal Title I funding to provide services to large numbers or high percentages of economically disadvantaged children. Some local districts receiving the award include the Granton School District and Greenwood School District for being High Progress Schools.
The Abbotsford, Loyal and Owen-Withee School Districts will also receive awards for being Beating-the-Odds Schools.
