53rd Eau Claire Farm Show Happening Tomorrow and Wednesday, Final

Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 -- 11:20 AM

-The 53rd Eau Claire Farm Show is happening today.

I spoke with Steve Henry who explained more of the events that will be happening at the show.

"The other thing that we're really proud of over the years and I'm not going to take credit for it. I'm going to pass the credit along to the country today. They have done the silent auction for the FFA. All the money is turned over to the FFA. And it's surpassed 40 grand, $40,000, over the past 20 years. The two of us kind of coordinate the program, but it's really their program. They line up the prizes. And the thing that's really neat about it is that on 2:30 on the first day of the show, the prizes, or the silent auction items, will be done away with and new ones will be put up for the Wednesday show. So, please do come and take part in this particular show."

"It is the granddaddy, it's the 2nd longest running regional farm show in the State of Wisconsin. So, we're kinda proud of that fact. Yes, we've changed locations and I want to point that out. We're at the Menards Conference Center, which is on the northwest side of Eau Claire. It's closest to the I-94 exit 59. Exit 59, I-94 and when you go there you can turn onto 312, head east and on 312 it's just a half mile away from that exit number. It's easy to reach and it's a better facility then what we are accustomed to and it does allow us to expand on the number of exhibitors that we have."

Once again, the Eau Claire farm show is happening today and tomorrow at its new location, the Menards Conference Center on Highway 312, from 9am until 3:30pm and it’s free admission.
