Thorp Fire Department Responds to House Fire Monday Afternoon

-The Thorp Fire Department responded to a house fire on Monday afternoon.The fire occurred around 4pm at a home on Stanley Street. When the department arrived, flames were coming from the windows and front porch of the home.
No one was home at the time and the house is considered a total loss. The Red Cross is assisting those who were displaced. The department believes a small heater may have caused the fire.
