Clark County Sheriff's Department Assists Taylor County Sheriff's Department in Recovering Stolen Weapons

-On Thursday March 3rd 2016, at about 11:00am, the Clark County Sheriff's Office assisted the Taylor County Sheriff's Office in recovering stolen weapons from a City of Owen residence.The weapons were stolen from Taylor County and during the course of their investigation lead them to a residence in Owen at 219 E 3rd Street. The suspects were not taken into custody but may be referred for charges in Taylor County. Several handguns and a rifle were recovered.
The Clark and Taylor County Sheriff's Offices with the Colby Abbotsford Police Department also recovered a stolen handgun at 206 S. Main Street in Colby later yesterday evening.
Several people from the Colby residence had valid warrants and were transported to the Clark County Jail.
