53rd Eau Claire Farm Show Hosting "America's Farmers Grow Communities" Program

-The 53rd annual EAU CLAIRE FARM SHOW, will again host "America's Farmers Grow Communities" program sponsored by Monsanto Fund.The show will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, March 8th and 9th at a new location; the Menards Conference Center on the northwest side of Eau Claire. Six student farmers will each receive checks of $2,500 at a special awards program Tuesday noon. They in turn will pledge their money to a nonprofit cause within their county. Kevin Nelson of Trempealeau County will direct his donation to the Osseo Rural Fire Department, Jerrod Meissner of Clark County to the Granton Area School District and Eau Claire County's Sharon Zimmerman to the Augusta High FFA.
The "Granddaddy of Farm Shows" offers free admission and show hours of 9 till 3:30 daily. This year's EAU CLAIRE FARM SHOW, takes place March 8th and 9th at a new location -- the Menards Conference Center on Highway 312 just a short distance from Exit 59 on I-94.
