Owen City Council Approves Several Items at Recent Meeting

-The Owen City Council approved several items at their meeting on Tuesday of last week.The council approved for the Police Dept. to go with the company Lexipol and get all Police Policies up to date. They also approved to advertise in the annual Central Wisconsin Community Guide for $195 and approved the annual membership to the Clark County Economic Development Corporation for $1,405.50. The council also approved for Clerk Ernst, Kelly Knight, John Mauel and Tom Nelson to take the Board of Review Training and approved the Application for Operators License to Krysara Mueller.
Finally, the council heard the CDC's report. Tim Swiggum reported that the Business Expo, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, will be held April 2nd at the Old High School gymnasium and the DNR will be scheduling the clean-up of the OMI property soon.
