(NBC News) -Hillary Clinton celebrated her overwhelming victory Saturday in the South Carolina Democratic Primary over Bernie Sanders. The victory is personal redemption for Clinton. She lost a bitter primary fight in South Carolina to President Obama in 2008. Saturday, Clinton dominated among African-American and women voters.
Exit polls showed Clinton winning 87 percent of the African-American vote, outperforming even Obama's totals in 2008. Clinton immediately turned her gaze to the 11 states with contests on Tuesday. It's the second win in a row for Clinton, who won the hotly contested Nevada Caucus last weekend.
