Employment Matters at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council approved employment matters at their meeting on Tuesday.The council approved hiring Barb Boyer as the new Deputy Clerk-Treasurer for the city. Barb would be leaving her current position as the Assistant Clerk-Treasurer for Neillsville to take this position which was previously held by Ellen Clark. The council then approved posting the position of Assistant Clerk-Treasurer.
The council also approved hiring Kyle Friemoth as the Water/Sewer Operator for the city. All these items were discussed at Personnel Committee meetings held on February 11th and another held right before the Common Council meeting last night. They were approved and brought to Tuesday night's meeting.
The city also approved the Flower Bid from Mills Creek Gardens near Marshfield for $1,500 for the city's flowers. That item was previously discussed and approved at a Beautification Committee meeting held on February 15th. They received several bids from area greenhouses for the city's plants.
