Many Projects Happening with Clark County Tourism Committee

-The Clark County Tourism Committee held their meeting on Wednesday at the Loyal City Hall.Many topics were discussed during the meeting. The committee heard an update on what's happening in the Forestry and Parks Department. The Sherwood Lake dredging project and dam repairs continues to move forward, the department is working on some land acquisition and they're working on maintenance of the county trail system.
The Ghost Towns project is also moving forward, but it was mentioned that the further they dig into the information available, the more they discover, making it a daunting project. A discussion of the county having its own, well-maintained horse trails was also discussed. There was a long discussion held about the county's visitor guides, other methods of advertising, other methods of getting the guides out and more. Finally, a recent co-op purchase of advertising the CCEDC did with Neillsville in Midwest Living Magazine was discussed.
