Neillsville Man Charged with Sexual Assault Makes First Appearance in Clark County Court

-A Neillsville man charged with sexual assault made his first appearance in Clark County Court on Wednesday.42-year-old Randy Magnus is charged with two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of an intoxicated victim and two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of an unconscious victim for two separate incidences that occurred while he was employed as a male nurse at Memorial Medical Center. Two female patients came forward and said that Magnus sexually assaulted them back in July and August of 2015. Magnus denied having any contact with the first victim and stated the second victim initiated the contact. When this came to light he was immediately fired from the hospital.
During his initial appearance, a $2,000 signature bond was set and he's not allowed to have any contact with the victims. He also cannot be employed in the health care profession and must cooperate with the Department of Safety and Professional Services including the Board of Nursing. He'll be back in court next month.
